Description

Wes and Cylas are the voices behind Deliberately Lost Outdoors, a podcast dedicated to the grit and beauty of the remote outdoors. After growing up in Minnesota and discovering a passion for the mountains while hiking in Colorado, this duo has spent years adventuring and exploring the remote wilderness.

As military veterans with 30 years of combined service, they bring a unique perspective to the outdoors-breaking down the gear, the skills, and the mindset required for serious outdoor adventure. Whether you’re backpacking, snowshoeing, or planning your next off-road expedition, join them as they share their adventures and teach you the skills needed to get "deliberately lost outdoors".

In this episode, we’re detailing the cringeworthy moment Wes's trailer met the garage door trim (and lost), and we question if Cylas just made a big purchase mistake. Plus, we’re diving into the tech: Power stations vs. on-board battery systems, and why your 'perfect' rig might actually be dangerously overweight.
