It’s time for another fireside chat, a quick check in. There’s a lot happening this summer for me, but rest assured I’m still working on Episode 2 of the Something Weird Series. Thanks to my municipal government work ethic, I’ve learned to never give a specific timeframe for a project, but I give my word that considerable progress has been made. Come down to Flicker Theatre in Athens GA on June 29th for the Secret Spaced Out Film Fest If you’re on Letterboxd, join the Sizzlin Summer of Subterranean Psychotronica Challenge Listen to Samm Deighan and I yapping about Roger Corman on her EROS+MASSACRE podcast on the Cinepunx Network I’m also on a few episodes of the Movie Melt podcast, here’s one about the movie Camp Fear I’m also on an episode or two behind the paywall so subscribe to their Patreon for bonus fun! This is a "Fireside Chat" episode, an episode apart from the main Something Weird Video episodes. They're looser and will be more frequent. This one is about the movies I watched in 2025 and the strange year we had in cinema. Thanks to everyone that purchased a zine, I still have a few to ship, but those are going out this week. Enjoy! https://linktr.ee/late.list.klon This podcast is hosted by ZenCast.fm

Late List Podcast is hosted by yrs tryl, Klon J Waldrip, it’s a video essay, podcast, blog and zine about the cinematic gunk stuck between film culture’s folds of flab. My goal for this show is to release the pressure that’s been building up in my skull ever since I stopped working at the video store. I’m going to drill a hole in my temple and let all of my dumbest ideas goosh out into your eager ears. This first season is all about Something Weird Video, a company that’s been dedicated to preserving raw and bizarre cinema for over 30 years. Films discussed: The Sinful Dwarf (1973, Eduardo Fuller) Ecco (1963, Gianni Proia) Teaserama (1955, Irving Klaw) Country Cuzzins (1972, Bethel Buckalew) Teenage Gang Debs (1966, Sande N. Johnsen) https://linktr.ee/late.list.klon This podcast is hosted by ZenCast.fm
