How do you sustain rapid growth without letting outdated processes and administrative complexity hold your organization back? In this episode of HCM Minds at Work, host Melissa Glennon sits down with Andrew Gonzalez, financial analyst at Laguna Development Corporation, to discuss the organization's journey from a collection of disconnected workforce systems to a unified human capital management (HCM) and payroll strategy. As Laguna grew from just three employees to nearly 1,100, Andrew and his team recognized that manual processes, siloed data and inconsistent workflows could no longer support the organization's future ambitions. Andrew shares how consolidating payroll, time tracking and workforce management helped improve accuracy, reduce administrative burden and create a more seamless employee experience. He also discusses the role of workforce analytics, continuous optimization and emerging artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in helping leaders make smarter decisions, strengthen retention efforts and support long-term growth. It's a compelling conversation about modernizing operations, empowering employees and building the foundation for sustainable success.

Kate Daly, CHRO of Lakeshore Recycling (LRS), will discuss her organization rapid growth support strategy.  LRS, a waste and recycling company with more than 50 sites, adopted ADP Lyric HCM after rapid acquisition growth exposed the limits of its paper-based HR processes. ADP unified hiring, onboarding, workforce management and payroll in a single system and extended access through mobile tools for field managers. The company reported that new acquisitions could be integrated within 30 days, onboarding time fell from 10 days to six, frontline turnover dropped by almost 12% year over year, overtime decreased by 18%, and audit preparation time declined by 60%.   More LRS insights
