Rob sits down with Joel Retzlaff, the father of the Skyview student who bravely helped start a national story that has shown how courage can make a difference. Sierra Retzlaff and her friend took a stand against competing alongside a transgender-identifying athlete who, just weeks earlier, had competed in the boys’ division before switching to the girls’ division, raising concerns about fairness and competitive opportunities for female athletes. Rob and Joel discuss how this all started, how the girls are weathering the media storm, the spiritual battle that rages within, and how the madness could come to an end.
Wil Fuentes is no longer with Fourth Plain Forward (FPF), and Rob describes how he had to go down to FPF to confirm it, because no one answers the phone. Diana Perez has new questions to answer regarding how she qualified for FPF services even though she reported to the PDC that she earned between $ 130,000 and $ 260,000 in income and FPF requires recipients to be at or below 80% Area Median Income levels. Also, Glen Yung's agonizing journey doing his job through the GMA process.
A second ethics complaint is filed, this time against Diana Perez, a Vancouver City Councilor and candidate for State Representative for 17th LD, which she is accused of several violations against ethics rules for taking a loan through Fourth Plain Forward, an organization funded by the City of Vancouver. Also, Rob covers Republican and Democrat recommendations for the 2026 General Election.
The Charter Review Commission advanced nine charter amendments but not all are the same. Commissioners Peter Silliman, Liz Cline, John Jay and Rob discuss Charter amendments 20, 24, 25, and 27. Also, the conversation turns towards the growing opposition to charter amendments 19 & 22.
Rob goes deeper on why some are boycotting the League Of Women Voters. Indivisible is action spreading their hate in Battle Ground while using Antifa tactics. And interesting results, or lack thereof, come back on a public records request for documents confirming Mitchell Kelly was deputized.
