Description

The Risen Collective Podcast is a safe, shame-free space for men and women whose lives have just blown up on them—through divorce, separation, single motherhood, or any “tower moment” that makes you question everything. If you’ve ever thought, “My life just exploded and I don’t recognize myself anymore,” this podcast is here to remind you: it’s not over; it’s your time to rise.

Hosted by Rebecca, a single mom, intuitive healer, and founder of The Risen Collective in West Michigan, each episode invites you into honest, conversational stories from the messy middle of healing. You’ll hear about her real-life experiences as she navigates them in the moment with grace and surrender as well as with clarity of the purpose and lesson in hindsight.

This podcast is about helping you come home to yourself. Together, we explore:

  • Healing after divorce, breakups, dating after 30 and with kids, and big heart rupture moments
  • Single motherhood, identity shifts, and doing life without the support you expected
  • Nervous system regulation, trauma healing, and feeling safe in your own body again
  • Boundaries, codependency, people-pleasing, and learning to take up space
  • Money, home, and abundance as a single parent (when everything feels unstable and scary)
  • Spiritual support: God, angels, spirit guides, intuition, and those wild “tower moments” that secretly reroute your life for the better

Rebecca doesn’t show up as a guru with all the answers. She shows up as a woman in the work with you—sharing the tools, reframes, and spiritual practices that actually helped, and telling the truth about the days that still feel like a spiral. You’ll learn how to:

  • Untangle your worth from your relationship status or how “together” your life looks
  • Make decisions (about trips, houses, jobs, dating) from self-trust instead of fear
  • See yourself as a powerful co-creator with the divine instead of a victim of your circumstances
  • Take small, grounded actions that open up more support, abundance, and peace in your everyday life

If you’re craving a judgment-free corner of the internet where you can exhale, feel seen, and remember that you are not broken—you are becoming—this is for you. Pour a coffee, take a walk, or hide in your parked car for ten extra minutes, and come sit with a sister who has walked through the fire and is obsessed with helping you rise from yours.

Dating after divorce can feel terrifying, exhausting, or downright pointless—but it can also be one of the fastest ways to meet your next-level self if you know how to use it intentionally. In this episode, Rebecca shares how she approaches dating as a divorced single mom and spiritual woman, and how every coffee date, red flag, and crush can become a mirror that accelerates your healing instead of repeating old cycles. You’ll hear about:- How to use dating to reveal your patterns in real time (people-pleasing, over-giving, attachment, fantasy) so you can shift them faster- Why “quantum leaping” in love isn’t about manifesting a perfect person overnight, but about becoming the version of you who would never abandon herself for a relationship again- Green flags and red flags in your own body—what your nervous system and intuition are telling you on dates- Setting standards and boundaries without closing your heart, and staying anchored in your values when you really like someone- Using each dating experience as data that refines what you want, what you will no longer tolerate, and how deeply you can trust yourselfThis episode is for you if you’re divorced, separated, or starting over in dating and wondering if it’s even worth getting back out there. You’ll walk away with a softer, more empowered approach to dating—one that treats every connection as an opportunity to rise, rather than another test you can fail.✨ More from The Risen CollectiveDivorce support courses & virtual community: therisencollective.coFollow us on Instagram @therisencollective.coIf this resonates, like, subscribe, and share it with a friend who’s ready to date again—and do so on a completely new frequency.
Feeling like your house is “too much” can secretly choke your abundance and self-worth. In this episode, Rebecca shares how a full-on spiral about her home, finances, and single-mom capacity cracked open a huge money wound—and how shifting her mindset around her house immediately shifted what she was able to receive.Episode descriptionHolding onto her home after divorce felt noble and necessary, but over time it became a pressure cooker: endless yardwork, repairs, decluttering, childcare, and a mortgage that constantly pushed her nervous system to the edge. Rebecca walks through the very real spiral of resenting her house, feeling unsupported, taking on credit card interest for the first time in a decade, and being mentally prepared to lose everything she had poured into it.She uncovers a core wound: the belief that “the rug will always be pulled out from under me, and someone else will take what’s mine.” This belief had her stuck in limbo—too scared to invest in making her home feel beautiful and like hers, because she assumed it would all be taken away anyway. From there, she takes you into the moment she almost chose an easier apartment out of scarcity, and the breakthrough where she realized that staying small, frozen, and resentful was blocking her abundance far more than her house ever was. This episode is for you if you are a single mom, divorced, or simply overwhelmed by a home, job, or life you’ve outgrown—and you keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. You’ll hear how small actions like painting a wall, reframing chores, and asking for help can become spiritual declarations to the universe that you trust yourself, trust the divine, and are done living in fear that everything good will be taken from you.In this episode- The honest spiral: house overwhelm, money fear, credit card interest, and feeling like there is never enough support or time.- The core wound of expecting the rug to be pulled out—and how that showed up in her house, finances, and relationships.- Being stuck in limbo: why she couldn’t bring herself to paint, decorate, or invest in her space while waiting to see if she’d have to sell.- The turning point: choosing to stop making decisions from scarcity and start treating the home like hers, regardless of the outcome.- How the universe responded once she shifted her energy—friends offering tangible help, support showing up, and a new sense of empowerment in her space.Stay connectedLearn more about The Risen Collective community, courses, and support for single parents: therisencollective.co.Explore Risen Sisterhood retreats and events for women in West Michigan.Follow on Instagram: @therisencollective.co for more on abundance, healing, and life after divorce. If this episode resonates with your own house, money, or “other shoe is about to drop” spiral, like, subscribe, and share it with someone who needs to know her environment can shift when her beliefs do.
Solo travel after divorce can be incredibly healing, and this episode is all about why. In this follow-up to her Eurotrip story, Rebecca shares how a week alone in London and Paris helped her break patterns of codependency, deepen self-trust, and claim a new, expanded version of herself after divorce.Episode descriptionPicking up where “Advocating for my Eurotrip” left off, Rebecca dives into what actually happened on her solo trip—not just the logistics, but the emotional and spiritual upgrades that came with it. She talks about how walking foreign streets alone, navigating trains, choosing her own schedule, and saying yes to experiences for no one’s benefit but her own became powerful medicine for old wounds around dependence, safety, and needing permission.Instead of feeling sorry for herself without a partner beside her, she intentionally chose to see London and Paris through the lens of empowerment. From connecting with like-minded women at an in-person event to proving to herself that she could be safe, capable, and “lucky” abroad, Rebecca shares the countless ways this trip helped her integrate years of healing work and see what was truly possible for her life post-divorce.This episode is for you if you’re craving something big and brave—whether that’s a solo trip, retreat, or simply a weekend away—but feel weighed down by guilt, fear, or other people’s opinions. Booking a solo Eurotrip as a single mom is not irresponsible—it can be one of the most powerful choices you make for your healing and self-worth. In this episode, Rebecca shares how advocating for her solo trip to London and Paris became a massive act of self-trust, expansion, and post-divorce empowerment.Episode descriptionAfter a traumatic few years and a difficult divorce, Rebecca felt a strong inner nudge to join a year-long coaching container that included in-person meetups—one of them in London. What started as an “impulsive” investment turned into a solo Eurotrip to London and Paris that she paid for creatively with points, discounts, and resourcefulness, all while navigating tight finances and single motherhood. She opens up about the resistance she faced from family who thought the trip was a bad idea, especially as a mom “struggling with money” and not traveling for work. Rebecca talks honestly about the guilt, the comments like “I never got to do that when my kids were little,” and the moment she realized she had to choose her own path anyway. This trip became proof that she could prioritize herself without being reckless, and that joy and adventure are not off-limits just because she is divorced or a parent. This episode is for anyone who feels selfish for wanting more than survival—more than court dates, bills, and logistics. You’ll hear how following spiritual nudges, building a relationship with your guides, and saying “yes” to expansion can change how you see yourself, your future, and what you’re allowed to experience in this one wild life.In this episode- Why Rebecca said yes to a year-long coaching program and two international meetups even while rebuilding after divorce.- How she used flight points, company travel discounts, and careful planning to make a London–Paris solo trip doable.- The pushback she received (“I don’t think you should go abroad,” “I never had that option as a mom”) and how she held her boundary anyway.- The role of spirit guides, intuition, and “lucky girl syndrome” in choosing aligned risks without being reckless.- How this trip became a turning point in healing codependency, trusting herself, and seeing travel as part of her post-divorce rebirth instead of a luxury she doesn’t deserve.Stay connectedLearn more about the Risen Collective and healing offerings: therisencollective.co.Explore Risen Sisterhood retreats and events for women in West Michigan.Follow on Instagram: @therisensisterhood @therisencollective.co for more on divorce healing, boundaries, and choosing yourself. If this episode sparks something in you—a trip, a class, a big brave yes—like, subscribe, and share it with a friend who needs permission to advocate for her own joy.
