Practicing Mystic

This podcast is the story most people never tell about the spiritual life: not the result, but the trials. Not the destination, but the walk: the doubt, the breakthroughs, the days it feels impossible, and the days it feels closer than close!

We have plenty of people who speak the principles and describe enlightenment like postcards from a place they've already reached. But where are the stories of actually walking there? Where are the people trying to live by God's law inside a man-made world, and telling the truth about how hard that is?

Let's be clear: I'm not a master here to hand you principles from a mountaintop. I'm a man trying to live up to the reality that I am one with God, failing, trying again, in the middle of bills, traffic, disagreements, and every ordinary thing that makes unity feel very far away some days.
