Description

Welcome to The Mom Flow Podcast. I’m Erin - your mom bestie who really gets it.

Over the last decade, I’ve grown my marketing business, become an “accidental influencer”, gotten married, travelled the world, gone through IVF, had a baby, been the breadwinner, and lost my mom. Life is A LOT, and that’s what I’m here to chat about.

We’ll talk about the things that don’t always make it to the group chat, but the things you say in your voice notes to your bestie. Identity shifts, ambition, grief, relationships, hormones, pop culture, mess ups, and everything in between.

Expect solo deep dives and interesting guests who speak to your curiosities or ambitions.

Think of this like a voice note from, yes, that mom bestie you can hang with. Honest, unfiltered, and here to remind you that you’re not the only one navigating all of it at once.

No pressure to have it all figured out. No pretending everything feels easy. Just real conversations - from someone who’s in it too.

I came here to talk about making your home cozy and ended up ranting about expensive blankets, AI taking over our feeds, and whether watching our friends’ Stories is replacing actual friendship. So, get comfy, we need to chat 😂This week’s recommendations:Linen sheets, down pillows, and the Fairmont mattress I fell in love with on a hotel stay.My Hatch and the bedtime setup I look forward to all day.Maldon salt, because simple food deserves good ingredients. Our new KitchenAid automatic coffee machine.Beautiful candles - plus the oversized Diptyque on my wish list. The best couch your budget allows, with a cozy blanket that doesn’t require a financing plan.I’m also sharing a six-week testosterone update: the changes I’ve noticed in my focus, motivation, and ability to get things done as part of my broader health plan. Then we get into my growing frustration with AI content, why being online feels exhausting, and the moment my best friend deactivated Instagram and I caught myself wondering how we’d keep up with each other. Apparently, we could… talk?Come for the cozy recommendations. Stay for a little encouragement to put your phone down and text someone you miss 💗My health update reflects my personal experience, not medical advice.Leave me a voicemail with your question or general comments and YOU could be on The Mom Flow! https://rss.com/podcasts/the-mom-flow-with-erin-sousa/voicemail/Follow me on Instagram @erincsousa and subscribe to my Substack https://erinsousa.substack.com/Got something to say to this podcast? When did we get so friggin’ serious? This week, I’m sharing four things I’m working on: consistency with my health, less phone time, betting on myself, and making room for actual fun. Plus, your first listener voicemails about motherhood and raising kids with a healthy perspective on money, the hair treatment I’m obsessed with, and why I almost talked myself out of a much-needed night out with Roberto. Consider this your reminder to get out of your own way and enjoy your life.Leave me a voicemail with your question or general comments and YOU could be on The Mom Flow! https://rss.com/podcasts/the-mom-flow-with-erin-sousa/voicemail/As always, if this episode resonates with you, please share it with a friend who might need to hear it, leave a rating or review, or send me a DM with your thoughts.Follow me on Instagram @erincsousa and subscribe to my Substack.Got something to say to this podcast? After seeing a TikTok about the guilt of having only one child, I knew I had thoughts. A LOT of thoughts.I'm opening up about our journey to becoming parents, including years of infertility, IVF, multiple miscarriages, and the emotional roller coaster that eventually brought us Lola. But I'm also sharing something I don't think we talk about enough: what happens when you love being a mom, love your life with one child, and STILL wonder whether you were meant to have another?I'm also opening up about our remaining frozen embryos, a dream that stirred up some unexpected feelings, and why sometimes the right decision can still come with a little grief. It's a vulnerable one, and I would LOVE to hear your thoughts. 💗Follow me on Instagram @erincsousa and subscribe to my Substack.See you next week!Got something to say to this podcast? This week is a good old-fashioned catch-up episode. I’m sharing an update on my health journey - HRT, GLP-1s, supplements and what’s actually starting to feel different - plus a very real conversation about grief, eight months after losing my mom, and why taking care of myself has become one of the ways I honour her.We also lighten things up with Thanksgiving hosting, why I refuse to make the turkey 😂 and, of course, this week’s recommendations.RECOMMENDATIONS ✨ 👚 The grown-up “going out top” - cashmere, under $60 and SO good. 🧪 KidzLabs science kits - a major win if your kid loves building, experimenting and figuring out how things work.Grab a coffee, pour a glass of wine or throw me on in the car - this one feels like catching up with a friend.Follow me on Instagram @erincsousa and subscribe to my Substack.See you next week!xx, ErinGot something to say to this podcast?
