The Tale Trail Podcast

Linden and Sharon discuss a hairy lil’ guy from the 80s (a little before even Sharon’s time, and for this show she’s old!) Did sitcoms back then just hit different? Why was this ugly but sweet little guy so beloved by families in North America? Would you want a roommate from outer space who terrorizes your cats? Tune in to this episode of The Tale Trail to hear more shenanigans! Chat with us here!

We discuss the morality and downfall of Light Yagami in the famous anime series Death Note. I I personally hate the guy, but why does Linden love him? Is it even possible to use the death note for anything good? And is L the smartest detective? Joins us as we chat shinigamis, murder and accidentally steal lines from random movies while we’re at it. Chat with us here!

We discuss the viral internet series “The Amazing Digital Circus.” Does it live up to the insane hype? What is it about this weird show that resonates with so many, and why is dated CGI so gosh-darned charming?? Join us as we talk weird (or just evil?) AI, awesome character designs, and don’t forget the T R A U M A ! ! Chat with us here!

We pick up where we left off about Wolfwood’s most iconic scene, and conclude with the core differences between Vash and Knives as Hero and Antagonist respectively. Also, which version is better, Trigun 1998 or Trigun Stampede? And why do people name their kids after utensils anyway?? Chat with us here!

Trigun from 1998 vs the CGI adaptation from the 2020s! Does Trigun Stampede/Stargaze improve on the original series, and exactly how different are the two stories from each other? Join us as we discuss this strangely biblical story of nomadic, gun-toting priests (or undertakers?) and a humanoid typhoon who’s superpower is ultimately — compassion?! Chat with us here!
