Description

Are insecurity, anger, or stress creating disconnection in your marriage or home? As a Christian husband or dad, do you feel the weight of leading your family spiritually, emotionally, and financially — but often feel inadequate, unsure, or overwhelmed?  Do you feel like you’re supposed to have it altogether but don’t?

If that’s you, you’re not alone. You’re in the right place!

This podcast is for Christian men who want clarity in their identity, confidence in their leadership, connection in their marriage, and strength in raising children who love Jesus.

Hey, I’m Glenn — husband, dad, and Christ follower. For years I tried leading my family on my own strength. I struggled with communication in marriage, emotional ups and downs, and misunderstood what biblical masculinity looked like.

I finally realized that if I wanted peace in my home, my understanding of leadership needed an overhaul from God. Through the Word, God rebuilt my identity, communication skills, and leadership one brick at a time.

If you’re ready to lead with confidence, create more peace in your home, and become a steady, Christ-centered husband and father — you don’t have to figure this out alone; let’s walk this road together.

So pause the world for a minute and let’s hang out!

Many husbands and dads struggle with temptation and wonder why they keep facing the same battles, but overcoming temptation requires more than willpower—it requires relying on the power God has already given us. In this episode, Glenn explains how renewing your mind with God’s truth, recognizing the lies behind temptation, and taking thoughts captive can help you make choices that align with your identity in Christ. You’ll discover how God provides a way out of temptation and how changing your environment, pursuing righteousness, and drawing closer to God help you stand firm when temptation comes. Temptation is a real battle, but you do not have to fight it alone—you have the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and the support of other Christian men to help you resist and overcome. Learn how to lead yourself, your marriage, and your family well by choosing truth over temptation and walking in the freedom God has provided.  Next Steps: - Step 1: Join a supportive community of like-minded men at my Facebook group Becoming Men Who Lead Well. - Step 2: Become an Insider. Husbands and dads, Why do we often justify our choices in the moment, even when we know they go against what is right?  What areas of your life are you most vulnerable to temptation, and are your daily choices helping you overcome or making you more vulnerable? Could the biggest battle with temptation be less about the temptation itself and more about what you believe about God, yourself, and what you need? Many husbands and dads struggle with temptation even when they already know what is right, but the battle is often deeper than the temptation itself—it involves what we believe about God, ourselves, and what we truly need. In this episode, Glenn explains how temptation works, why the enemy tries to create doubt about God’s goodness, and how those lies can lead us to justify choices we know are wrong. You’ll discover why the cravings of the flesh can become louder than the truth we already know and how renewing our minds through God’s Word helps us fight the battle differently. Through the examples of Adam and Eve and Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness, this episode shows that temptation is a real struggle—but one we can face through a deeper relationship with God and His truth. Learn how to recognize temptation, remove unnecessary opportunities for failure, and draw near to God so you can lead yourself, your marriage, and your family with greater integrity and confidence. Are you preparing for the storms of life now, or are you hoping a solution will somehow magically appear when the pressure arrives? Many husbands and dads wonder how they will respond when life gets difficult, but crisis reveals the strength of our character and the foundation we have built before the storm arrives. In this episode, Glenn shares the story of Joseph and how his relationship with God allowed him to remain faithful through betrayal, temptation, false accusations, and hardship. You’ll discover why your circumstances do not have to determine your response and how a strong identity in Christ, trust in God’s promises, and daily faithfulness help you lead with wisdom and self-control when pressure comes. Learn how God uses trials to develop endurance, strengthen character, and prepare you to lead your marriage, family, and life well. Crisis will come, but when your relationship with God is your foundation, you can face challenges with confidence knowing He is with you and will not abandon you.  Next Steps: - Step 1: Join a supportive community of like-minded men at my Facebook group Becoming Men Who Lead Well. - Step 2: Become an Insider.
