A group of hired help comes together to become Starchasers, and track down shards of a Fallen Star. This party, made of mismatched individuals trying to find their way in life, make it big, or find their place, has been promised any wish they desire from their enigmatic Employer. This journey takes them by train to the mining town of Calypse.
The starchasers arrive in Calypse, and are brought up to speed on the unfortunate superstitions that have taken root in the town.
The starchasers investigate the twin foundries in Calypse, and get leads on how to deal with the going-ons in the town.
The Starchasers seek out the shrinekeeper who goes by the name Rena, hoping to locate her to help them solve Calypse's possible yokai problem.
The Starchasers enter the sewers to track down the slime monster that threatened Londo, and determine Mog's fate.
