When George Hanzal escaped Czechoslovakia and the Iron curtain he managed to end up living under The Chief in Squamish. In the 90's he brought back $3000 of equipment from the now Czech Republic after the fall of the Communist Regime. George used the gear to start Climb On Equipment, Squamish's well-loved local gear store.I got to hear the story of how George escaped Czechoslovakia and also learn more about the notorious Czech Sandstone, where George landed to climb. George then told me about running Climb On and how things have changed in Squamish. This was one was super interesting. Thanks George!Music: Ünicorns of Death (Instrumental Version) by Psüche (Epidemic Sound)
Jimmy Martinello is a photographer, climber and all-rounder. Jimmy was introduced to the world of outdoor sports during his youth in Whistler and after finishing high-school, he was unleashed into the world. During his initial travels he began taking photos which kickstarted a new career. It seems like Jimmy has been part of infinite trips & proects such as trips to Madagascar, a first ascent on Mt Bute and a separate film project there. Jimmy has lived a lot of life and as a result has a nice perspective on the topic. Thanks Jimmy!Jimmy's work: https://jimmymartinello.com/Music: Ünicorns of Death (Instrumental Version) by Psüche (Epidemic Sound)

Over the winter, together with friends Rachel, Tim, Jessica & Jon they put did a First Ascent called Con Todo El Mundo in Cochamo, Chile. One may see the grade, the pictures, the place, the achievement think "that's so cool" and keep scrolling. What stood out more to me is the friendship, connection & energy between these guys and they're shared stoke for these type of adventures. Once again the theme of experiencing big adventures with your mates comes up which is what its all about!Ethan's work: https://www.ethanmorfphoto.comCon Todo El Mundo film: https://youtu.be/ON8lHu1Pae8?si=JTwTnI6D55R-29cbPhoto: The Team on the summitMusic: Ünicorns of Death (Instrumental Version) by Psüche (Epidemic Sound)
