Description

It's time for women to lean out. To fck off the things we will no longer accept or do. We've made a list, and it's quite long, so we made it into a podcast. Three fierce women. No filters. Zero apologies. Join Jasmin Bedir, Carly Pelham and Jen Dobbie as they name everything they're done with — from impossible beauty standards to menopause signs, working like you don't have kids to parenting like you don't have a job. This isn't wellness. It's liberation. Listen in and decide what deserves to get in the bin. What's on your list?

Season 1 Wrap

2026-09-2316:59

Season one is a wrap, so it's time to look back at what hit a nerve. Why did a throwaway comment about women in their 40s getting messages from 20-something men on dating apps cause more rage than anything else all season? Jas, Carly, and Jen look back at the moments that got them trending with insults and the ones that had women saying "this is so true for me." They cover the algorithm with Chanel Contos, the "secret side door" of ageism with Jamila Rizvi, being told to "Botox your resume," the fight over the 7% women's health research figure with Ceri Cashell, and femicide in Australia with Sherele Moody. The list is long and it's only getting longer. Season two is coming soon. In this episode, we're putting wearable smart tech on trial. From the sudden ubiquity of Meta glasses to recording devices entering private spaces, zero regulation, and tech companies rushing products out without considering the consequences, why is maintaining personal privacy in 2026 somehow harder, weirder, and more invasive than ever? Jas and Carly are taking a hard look at the mainstreaming of smart tech from high-end wearables to the inevitable moment retail giants like Kmart release their own versions. Together, they unpack the bar-is-on-the-floor reality of modern privacy boundaries, the awkward social dynamics when someone walks in wearing smart glasses, why tech continues to launch without proper oversight or regulation, and whether tech companies should be held accountable before these devices completely overrun our daily lives. They're officially adding unregulated wearable tech, boundary-crossing smart glasses, and the unchecked tech race to the FckIt List. This week's episode contains content relating to violence against women and comes with a trigger warning. In this episode, Carly, Jen and Jas sit down with Sherele Moody, an award-winning journalist and founder of Australian Femicide Watch and The RED HEART Movement — a living memorial to every woman and child lost to violence in this country. Sherele has personally documented over 3,000 deaths, built murals in their memory, won a Walkley Award for her journalism, and is currently leading a national petition with over 100,000 signatures calling for a Royal Commission. They get into why the Prime Minister knocked back the Royal Commission call, whether the $4.4 billion National Plan is actually reaching the frontline, what the media keeps getting wrong when it covers these deaths, and what it actually looks like, for men and for women, to intervene before it's too late. Why do men in Hollywood get endless second chances while women are cancelled for far less? This week on The Fck It Files, hosts Carly Pelham, Jasmin Bedir, and Jen Dobbie breakdown the glaring double standards in how society and the media treat men versus women. The hosts discuss a viral post comparing the serious, often illegal offenses committed by high-profile men—from violent assault to relationships with minors—against the minor, non-criminal missteps or personal struggles that lead to women being publicly vilified. They explore why redemption seems readily available for men while women are held to impossibly harsh standards, and how public pressure and collective action can start holding public figures accountable. Did you know the majority of medicine is still modelled on a 70 kilo white man? Jas, Carly and Jen sit down with Dr. Kerri, a GP and founder of the Healthy Hormones community, to unpack why women's health is still chronically underfunded, under-researched and routinely dismissed as "just anxiety." They dig into "bikini medicine," the idea that female health only means fertility, the testosterone access battle, and "the female pleasure gap," a marker of cardiovascular disease that nobody's screening for. With only 7% of global health funding going to female-specific conditions, they're officially adding the health gap to the list.
