Castle Podskull

Join Thom (Prof X-Ennial) and Kevin (Fan-At-Arms) in discussing every episode of the 1980s Filmation cartoon classic - THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE! We discuss if this episode of the show beloved in our childhood is as RAD or as MANLY as we remember it, or if it's instead CHEEZY or INAPPROPRIATE or maybe even a touch HOMOEROTIC? We also explore the MORAL LESSON of the show - and most importantly, "what ACTION FIGURE does it make us want to buy??" (And yes, you can actually buy the figures that we are selling at unpreciousstudios.com/castlepodskull . They're not cheap - but they're also not good!) This episode we meet ORKO'S FAVORITE UNCLE - the 24th episode from the original series. It's kind of dumb, not gonna lie - but also some cool characters in the mix.  Watch along on youtube.com/unpreciousstudios And follow us on Instagram and TikTok @castle_podskull

It features Trap Jaw on super-steroids, Merman being dumb and burbling AF, and a war vet Grandpa who's one half Prof. X and one half Jor-El. Oh also some stupid flying Furbies.  (And yes, you can actually buy the figures that we are selling at unpreciousstudios.com/castlepodskull . Beast Man gets fired by Skeletor, takes his toxic relationship problem to his Shadow Beast bros, and concocts a stupid plan to get back into Snake Mountain. Meanwhile, Adam goes through Big Teen Angst while Randor relishes the opportunity to get Rowdy. (And yes, you can actually buy the figures that we are selling at unpreciousstudios.comcastlepodskull .
