And a brand-new car that suddenly refuses to accelerate…In the early hours of 9th February 1962, 34-year-old Ronald Wildman was driving a new Vauxhall from Luton towards Swansea when he encountered something extraordinary on Ivinghoe Road, near Aston Clinton.Hovering just feet above the road was a huge, oval-shaped object, estimated to be up to forty feet across, with strange dark markings resembling portholes.As Ronald approached, his car mysteriously began losing power.
