Description

Linda J Lord knows how to grow things. Her father was a farmer and he taught her how to watch the sky, test the ground, plant at the right time, and nurture the tender plants to ensure their potential was maximized. Linda has taken these lessons and transforms people's lives by delivering presentations and stories. She is a Human Agriculturalist and Storytiller. Stories that Walk provides guests with the opportunity to tell their stories of personal and professional growth as well as a place to hear Linda's stories on character, choice, and rising above life's circumstances. Stories encourage us to share our common experience of making a living and having a life in a way that brings perspective. The more we live, the more we have to share.

Meet Lora Colautti: "Listening, questioning and sharing my experiences comes naturally to me. As does seeing the best in others. You could say that I’ve been coaching for most of my life. Those who know me well say I’m always looking for the positive and trying to get the most out of every day. In 2008 my younger sister and only sibling ended her strong and graceful journey of illness and passed away from breast cancer at the age of 31. She was an amazing woman, a cherished daughter, a loving wife and mother of 2 little boys, an adored grade school teacher and my best friend. Even though it was heartbreaking I was able to take beauty and positivity from the experience. It was then that I realized I wanted to help and support others in doing the same in their lives. I decided that coaching was my calling." When speaking at her sister's funeral, Lora said, "We’ve all heard of the saying live, love, laugh. Now think of it the other way around. Because when you are laughing and loving you truly are living.” Lora's story is one that you will want to hear.
I used to hate Valentine's Day. I didn't see the point. But then I realized that beyond the marketing bonanza and skyrocketed chocolate sales, there is merit in taking time to let those who matter most to you know how much they mean. So, join me on my first episode of Stories that Walk as I share who and what matter most to me today.
