miniretreat

We all need time to reflect on the direction we are going with our lives. In Opus Dei, we usually spend a couple of hours every month with that goal in mind. These miniretreats include meditations conducted by priests, a talk given by a layman, and texts that help us recalibrate our priorities. In this monthly podcast, we will publish these resources that offer invaluable help to foster our dialogue with Christ. This podcast is brought to you by Schuyler Hall, a space in Midtown Manhattan for professional and college young men who look for friendship and Catholic wisdom.

Father Joseph Keefe  reflects on the universal thirst and hunger for true happiness. Holy  Purity is the virtue that allows us to feed and drink from the one  Source that never fails, that never dries up.

May 2020: First Meditation

Saint Josemaria saw in the care for little things a way to respond to  God's infinite love for us. For him, Holy Mary always stood out as a  model of dedication to Jesus through the seemingly unimportant  occurrences of everyday life. In this meditation, Father Timothy Uhen  explores the evangelical roots of that intuition of Saint Josemaria.
