When you grow up in a conservative church, your spiritual education is frequently filled with ideas and myths that are communicated to you implicitly or through hushed voices. There are these subtle hints that you should believe certain things about sexuality, gender, politics, etc. In "Say What?" Hanna busts these topics wide open, encouraging her listeners to engage and grapple with these ideas that feel taboo. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone who has encountered the hush-hush culture of conservative Christianity and wants to actually sort through some of the questions we were never allowed to ask in church.
