Any one person can achieve any one thing
SSB for me has been a game about friendships and competition. It's never been something I've taken an incredibly deep dive into, but it's been something that found natural talent with.
Today's topic is Fortnite. I decided to make this one a bit of a rant on my thoughts on the game vs it's competitors and why I believe it's been successful. I'm probably wrong, but you know... get your own podcast.
My journey with D&D over the years... I think this became more of a rant and didn't quite go anywhere. Maybe I should reconsider driving and podcasting?
I learned a lot of important lessons from Starcraft II, but most importantly was that of community. There is a community out there for just about anyone (good and bad), and it was refreshing and fulfilling to find mine in this game.
This turned into a short and simple list of some of the highlights of my video games past. I'll probably revisit this topic later with specific goals in mind.
The Army was a transition, and a drastic one when coming from the Air Force. It was a good one and exactly what I needed at the time.
It was a simple time in my life. Surrounded by a great group of nerds with little work to do. It helped introduce me to a lot of gaming culture I couldn't experience in the small town I grew up in.
Our family got it's first computer in the 90s and it's been an influence for me ever since.

Occasionally our goals distract us, and it's important to pick right back up where we started. Today's episode is exactly that. Missed the third day of my podcast, so I decided to talk about the thing that distracted me. There will be a normal episode today, making today a double to make it up.
Proper goal setting helped me achieve a few notable things in my life, and eventually it led me here. I talk about some of my personal goals and the goal setting process for this podcast and why it exists.
The best advice I ever recieved was about getting started. Too much planning and you may find you never took the first steps.
