Workout 58 | Respite Now!: Love, Money, or Connection?

(Excerpt from Respite Now!, essay) Today, we appeal to the imaging of all of us together without taking thorough stock of strides and roads all have sojourned in making it to this point. In other words—we’re siloing more—while appearing to be with one another. Even simpler, we’ve found a phenomenal way of being alone, together. All us are in a slowly crashing car—and we all know it. Yet, we’re too confused to understand what to do about it. Solvency centered philosophies have to sustain us from here. No more do we have the privilege of loathing one another. No! We are now plagued with the burden of exploring real reasons to love one another… if we truly wish to sustain. Let’s have the real life discussions—at the table—while celebrating one another’s presence, in the moment. Grab your fave writing utensil and journal. This episode is chocked full of thought provoking content. Feel free to enjoy, and ask questions. Peace!

Workout 61 | Young Founders’ Roundtable

You 👀 the workout title! This is the one you’ve been waiting for, but didn’t know you needed! Thank you to Sonya Tareke, one of the Founders of Team Real Talk, for putting this workout together, and producing how we’d go about it. Thanks to David, Founder of Arbo and Jonathan, Founder of Time Capsule Family Connections for their time and energy! We started to tackle what it's like being a young founder in tech (& out) here in Buffalo, NY. “As a young founder, particularly at a non-technical startup, it's extraordinarily tough to earn credibility. In a people-facing business where you're often relying on first impressions to succeed, it's even more difficult. Although age is just a number, it does pose a variety of challenges for budding entrepreneurs. So to help others like us, we'll focus on the following topics: Being taken seriously, Securing funding, & Redefining your social circle. These are the three main points, but it's an open discussion and we didn’t hold back!” —Sonya Tareke. You wanna win?! You wanna steps to Shattering Slavitude–then get this workout done. Push for the success you desire. It’s in here!

Workout 60 | Nuance: Concerted Energy

Use your imagination to scan your experience and locate just where nuance is at work... Bewildered?🤔. Workout 56 | Dammit–Harvey!: "Pain That Doesn't Transform Gets Transmitted."

This workout was inspired by Oprah and Harry's new series, "The Me You Can't See."  The title, "Pain That Doesn't Transform Gets Transmitted," sorta pushed us into assessing just how this socially transmitted disease (socio-emo pain) might be effecting us.  An initial thought that comes to mind is the concept of an individual being special.  And-because one is often referred to as special, one’ll often run into another that feels that they have a greater design for the use of the one's specialty. However, what’s true is because one is special, one also has the responsibility of being who and what one wants (based on one's own design).  Perplexing? 🤓🦾 Good !  Tap in, to fill in the blanks.  Enjoy!😉

Workout 55 | What Do I Have to See in Order for Me to Understand That This Isn’t True?🤔🧐🤓

Ayo, I was blown away when my colleague, Mike Cardus, dropped the proverbial 🎤 with this question. Mike told me that he uses this question (along with others) as a tool in empowering organization heads to think about/approach challenges differently.  When I presented The Phoenix Mastermind with this question, it immediately made everyone come alive and curious to explore the facets.  Join as we attempt to bring this concept down to earth and make it make everyday sense.  As always, we appreciate you falling through and working out with us.  Enjoy!  Peace.

Join us as we interview a great and honorable pillar of our Buffalo community, my cousin (shameless plug), Tyree Parker!🎉🏀🏈🏆 More about Cuz in a bit... let's get at the subtext.  We operationalize affirmations as the ideas/thoughts we see in our minds; confirmations as personal ceremonial honorings/celebrations; and–manifestations as the goal(s) achieved.  Now, back to Cuz! Workout 53 | *>🪰Fly-On-The-Wall Conversations< Jettisoning generational curses to build wealth.

**Explicit Language** Imagine yourself a fly on the wall, and able to listen in on an ADOS (American Descendant of Slavery) Black family. My family. Again, listen objectively... this is a genuine conversation, that just so happens to be an authentic American cultural narrative. If you ever wanted to look in the window of what a family’s life looks like in the slums of the United States, this is your workout. We’re deep in the South, bonding over our Big Momma’s (RIP) funeral [COVID]. Episode 49 | Cultural Competency

How much do you consider culture while interacting with others?  Do you assume that everyone, pretty much, does as you do?  Do you know how much time is in a moment?  🤣Come on in to this welcoming episode titled Cultural Competency!  In this episode we attempt the questions above. And, if for nothing else, we give our best experiences that supports the theory/ies the Phoenix Mastermind chose for this discussion.  In today's world, we're all speaking of welcoming one another more.  Though, are we really considering the whole person that shows up?  There's a lot more to a person than just a name.  In fact, culture has quite the influence over our thinking, attitudes, and behaviours.  Trust me, this episode is way better than what this caption reads!  So, come on in.  Take a load off, and kick up top game with some boss Players (allusion to Episode 40).  Enjoy!  Cheers!
