In 2020, during the pandemic, Mike wanted to change his lifestyle and get outdoors more. He started kayaking, camping, and fishing all on his own. Mike and Rad came up with an idea to do an overnight backpacking trip with the skills Mike had learned from watching countless hours of YouTube videos. Their idea became reality.
