Welcome back to another episode of our New(ish) Movie Monday series. This time around, we watch the film Beast (2022). Starring Idris Elba (The Wire, Thor, Luther) and Sharlto Copley (District 9, The A-Team), this film is set in the wilds of the African Savannah, as a father and his two daughters (played by Leah Jeffries and Iyana Halley) are trapped by a ferocious lion. Part Jaws (1975), part Cujo (1983), part The Edge (1997), and part anti-poaching and wildlife preservation commentary, this movie tackles a lot. So without further ado...
