“Once a Showgirl, Always a Showgirl!” Join me for this special series of episodes as I describe what it was like to have repeated mammograms, alternative tests, MRI’s and eventual breast cancer.  After taking the path of least resistance, I met a new breast cancer surgeon who opened my eyes to a whole new possibility of bilateral mastectomies and breast reconstruction.  As I write this on the eve of my surgery, I’m getting ready to go down an unbeaten path in my life. Excited?  Yes.  Hopeful?  Absolutely.  A little nervous?  Of course.  I’m not gonna lie and I promise to keep you “abreast” of every detail.  Be curious, get informed and never be afraid to ask questions.  Change your mind or trust your intuition!
