Description

David and Rachel talk to "MJ," a trans woman, about why she began to feel so unsafe in the U.S. that she has exercised her right as a dual citizen to return to Canada.

The conversation starts light, with Canadian cocktails and the need for everyone to have an "Emergency David."

But MJ does not hold back from sharing personal details about her journey as a trans woman, some of the ways in which it is dangerous to be transgender in the U.S. under the second Trump administration, and how important it is in understanding people who are different from you to just listen, and ask questions.
