Clark rescues his little mind reader pal Ryan(aka Stranger Things aka Young Wolf) from a lab where a doctor with questionable motives was performing cruel cognitive experiments on him. Meanwhile, Lex meets Smallville's mayor(The Cigarette Smoking Man) and finds himself at odds with the corrupt leader, who wants a bribe in exchange for approval of the Lexcorp plant expansion. Clark refuses to accept that Ryan can't be saved, and races to find a specialist to perform a life saving surgery.
Did the police really do an investigation, or is Summerholt too big to fail? Where is Ryan's aunt at the end of the episode? What does Gill even do for a living? Should Warrior Angel have maybe seen that betrayal coming? It's the one where we peel back the FOREskin and talk FOREshadowing. Sorry.
