Dr. Todd Yeary, Former RainbowPush chair joins Jesse Jr as they discuss Southern California Edison’s continued refusal to speak with Tavis Smiley and the people of Altadena who lost everything in fires that resulted from the company’s failure to cut the power off as they did other communities according to an investigative report by NPR. How would Reverend Jackson have handled this? The answer is a well planned zone offense. While people may not get their most prized possessions back, or the 19 lives lost may not be redeemed, certainly, the electric company should surely meet with the people, face-to-face, even if they don’t admit to guilt.
