In this episode, we had the opportunity to have a conversation with KeNN .
Hailing from Engaru, Hokkaido, KeNN was raised in a household where music was always at the center, thanks to parents who were both DJs. Immersed in a wide variety of sounds from an early age, he began his musical journey by uploading cover songs on YouTube.
In May 2025, he made a striking debut with the single “Something Wrong”, which was selected for major Spotify playlists across 10 countries and secured heavy airplay on J-WAVE, InterFM, and HBS Radio in Japan. With a rapidly growing presence and a unique sound that resonates deeply with audiences, KeNN is emerging as one of Japan’s most exciting new voices.
KeNN in September 2025 release new single "One in a million", This track paints the wounded protagonist with KeNN’s dazzling voice-shining brightly in the darkness—and a modern beat grounded in indie-pop. Its boundless soundscape, stretching out as if with no end in sight, draws listeners deep into the story like wandering through a night with no destination, refusing to let go.
