[ROUNDTABLE] Are the Browns Now the Biggest Threat for the AFC Crown? | Does the Patriots Wide Receiver Core Need A Major Overhaul?
Description
Just two years ago the Cleveland Browns finished 0-16, one of the worst performances by a team in the history of the NFL.
In the past two weeks alone the organization has acquired two of the top players in the NFL, Odell Beckham Jr. and Sheldon Richardson.
With the Pittsburg Steelers seemingly on the downhill after losing Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell this offseason, an AFC North Title is looking attainable.
That poses the bigger question, do the Brown pose a real threat to the Patriots for the AFC Championship?
Bill Belichick is known for not dishing out millions of dollars. So far, this offseason has been no different.
When Danny Amendola entered the market, fans thought he might come back. Instead, he went to Matt Patricia's Detroit Lions. When Golden Tate became a free agent, reporters thought he could be a good match for Tom Brady. Tate signed a deal with the Giants. Adam Humphries was picked up by Tennessee, and still, Belickeck stayed away from the action.
Will the Patriots show up to the 2019 season with a bunch of nobodies at the wide receiver role just like they did in 2018? Only time will tell.
