This Podcast features a special conversation with Saw Paul Sein Twa of Karen Environmental and Social Action Network (KESAN), who has been awarded the 2020 Goldman Environmental Prize from Asia (often referred to as the green Nobel), for leading inspiring struggle to preserve both the environment and Karen indigenous peoples rights in Myanmar. 

He shares insights on his movement and also interacts in a panel discussion featuring noted development justice leaders from several countries in south Asia, including Prafulla Samantara, Lokshakti Abhiyan (Goldman Environmental Prize awardee), India; Dr Sandeep Pandey, Socialist Party (India) and Ramon Magsaysay Awardee; Barrister Shameem Haider Patwary, Member of Parliament, Bangladesh; Professor Abdul Hameed Nayyar, noted physicist, researcher and peace activist; Herman Kumara of NAFSO Sri Lanka (National Fisheries Solidarity Organization); Pushpa Achanta, gender justice activist; Krishna Gautam of Ageing Nepal; and Shobha Shukla, founder CNS (moderator).
