זהו פרק עמוס בזיכרונות של אורי וחניק בית-אור, שמשחזרים את חייהם ביחד ולחוד. החל מהחלומות של אורי בן השלוש ושעות העבודה הרבות של חניק כילדה, דרך היכרותם ב"נוער העובד", הקמת קיבוץ גבים והלימודים האקדמיים, ועד הקמת מכללת ספיר, הייעוץ הגנטי והתרומה הרבה לקהילה. כל זה – ועוד לא מעט – בפרק ב' על משפחת בית-אור.
