Description
Abraham's faith was not perfect. God instructed him to leave his family, but he took some family members with him. God promised him a child, but he attempted to fulfill the promise through a maidservant. God promised to protect him, but twice he endangered his wife's life to protect his own. Abraham struggled with his faith, but God's commentary is straightforward: "By faith Abraham obeyed."
