Mohammed Ben Sulayem is almost certain to run unopposed in December’s FIA presidential elections. The-Race.com have uncovered a quirk in the requirements for being able to step forward as a candidate that make it virtually impossible for anyone but Ben Sulayem to run, all but guaranteeing his re-election. Meanwhile Mark Webber has admitted that his client and protégé Oscar Piastri could well be heading to Ferrari in the future, but only if and when he wins the championship first.
