“As the bread of life, Jesus is “life and life giving.” That is exactly what John Wesley teaches in his New Testament notes about John 6:35 . When exploring Jesus as the bread of life, it is important to ask the question “What does the bread of Jesus do?” His bread is not about satisfying physical hunger! The Greek word for life is Zoe, it is the same word used in Luke’s Gospel 16:25 when the angelic Abraham tells the sinner that Lazarus is comforted. With this in mind, friends, I can confidently tell you that life in Jesus is everywhere…”
