Dan and Emma are back for part 2 at Mama Lion with Phil Rosenthal and Tom Caltabiano discussing Japanese whiskey and recalling their early days in Hollywood and hilarious stand-up comedy memories.
Part 2 starts with Phil sharing his all-time favorite cocktail from his travels (2:55 ) before Tom reminds Phil of their after-work nightcaps on “Everybody Loves Raymond” (4:55 .) To Phil’s delight a very delicious bottle of Hibiki arrives on the table (4:28 ), Tom discusses Supertasters (9:54 ), Dan shares some of his favorite whiskies (10:52 ) and then Dan tries to persuade Phil to do go to Scotland with him for an episode of “Somebody Feed Phil” (13:10 .) Tom and Phil discuss the brutal side of Hollywood (17:12 ), Dan gets sappy about Letterman (23:51 ), Phil shares his own Letterman story (25:49 ), Tom recalls losing his own memories which include losing his pants to Ray Romano (29:11 ) and the episode draws to a close with Dan’s Scotland themed Drinking Game (34:03 .)
