After Hereditary (our third favourite film of 2018), Ari Aster is back to thoroughly creep us out all over again with Midsommar. Starring Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor and Will Poulter, Midsommar takes place in a rural commune in Sweden, where blazing sunshine constantly covers a land with many disturbing secrets.
If horror in the sun isn’t your thing, how about murder in the snow? Liam Neeson stars in Cold Pursuit, our to-rent review, which is a more blackly-comic affair than his more recent films. Is there humour to be found amongst all the death?
