「To give prudence to the simple,

　To the young man knowledge and discretion-」　Amen.

　Does "the simple" in Proverb 1:4 refer to those who deny God, the Creator? The purpose of compiling these Proverbs is stated here. While many are advice for young people, they are not limited to them alone; they are pearls of wisdom for people of all ages and genders. And they become beneficial words as we journey through life. They serve as guideposts.
