男は言う。「だから私は、死体なんか怖くはないっていったんだ。私には、人間の生命ってやつが不気味なんだ」

痩せた若い男は、怯えた子犬のようなおどおどした目をしていた。

「ところが、奴はその私を、私の恐怖を、ぜんぜん理解できなかった。

　奴は、バカか狂人か、その両方かに違いないんだ。

　まったく、悪い奴にとっつかまったもんです」

The man says, "That's why I said I wasn't afraid of dead bodies. So I said, I'm not afraid of dead bodies. Human life is creepy to me.

The skinny young man had the frightened eyes of a frightened puppy.

But he didn't understand me, or my fear, at all.

　He must be an idiot, a lunatic, or both.

　I'm really stuck with a bad guy.
