There’s a fine line between being confident and being egotistical. 

Egocentric = 以自我为中心

Centric = 以___为中心

Prideful = 骄傲的

It’s a fine line = 「界限很模糊」,「界限不好把握」, 使用语境和中文里的“只有一步之差/一线之隔”是一样的。

To be full of themselves = very arrogant = 非常自大

Fine lines also have another meaning…

• Fine lines = wrinkles = 细纹


• 鱼尾纹 = crow’s feet

Pronunciation check 正音：

• CROW sounds like [Kr-OH] 不是 [kr-傲]
