清朝鄒平縣有一位姓蘇名成的富人，樂善好施，經常做一些好事方便他人。在離蘇成所住村莊十里左右的道旁，有一棵巨大的古柳枝葉繁茂，每有行人通過此道，必在樹下乘涼休憩。
