…And There’s More
It’s easy to get carried away with so much happening this weekend – which is why there’s a lot of info on today’s Austin Music Minute. You’ve got ACL Festival selections for tonight, Friday Oct. 8, and tomorrow afternoon, Saturday Oct. 9, along with some very cool alternatives if you’re avoiding Zilker Park.
If you’re making the festival rounds this evening: Black Pumas start their set at 6 p.m. on the Lady Bird stage, with George Strait following at 8 p.m.; Eryka Badu plays the Miller Lite stage at 7 p.m.
If the fest is not for you tonight, you’ve got Tameca Jones (“Gimme That” is featured on today’s AMM) and Go Fever at The Continental Club, 1513 S. Congress Ave; Dylan Meek and Kelsey Wilson (Sir Woman) at Radio Coffee and Beer, 4204 Menchaca Rd.; and KUTX October Artist of the Month Money Chicha at The Far Out Lounge and Stage, 8504 S. Congress Ave., with Nemegata.

The AMM’s short list for ACL Fest tomorrow afternoon includes Mike Melinoe, Jade Bird, The Tender Things, Girl In Red, LP Giobbi, La Doña, Charley Crocket, and Phoebe Bridgers. Okay, maybe a not-so-short list…
*As always, check venue/event websites for safety protocol, and wherever you go for live music, please remember to bring your mask.
