On today's 'BradCast': Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered hundreds of top U.S. Military generals and admirals, from all over the world, to convene in Virginia for an unusual in-person meeting on September 30th, but has told no one why. September 30th is also the last day to avert a government shutdown, as Congressional Republicans refuse to negotiate with Democrats whose votes will be needed to pass legislation to keep the government open. The White House threatened to enact mass layoffs if the government shuts down. Donald Trump ordered US Attorney General Pam Bondi to indict former FBI Director James Comey before the statute of limitations deadline on September 30. Federal judge ordered the Trump Administration to restore half a billion dollars in federal research grant funding to UCLA. Plus Desi Doyen has our new 'Green News Report.'
