Description

George Walker is the Professor in International Financial Law at the Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary University, London. He is a Barrister and Member of the Honourable Society of Inner Temple in London and a Member of the New York Bar. He has been a Legal Consultant with the International Monetary Fund, Washington, DC and worked on over 30 country projects. He has held teaching, research or examination positions at Harvard University, Georgetown Law School, Hong Kong University, University of Tokyo, Edinburgh University and Cambridge University. He has published extensively. He has been awarded a highly distinguished Major Research Fellowship with the Leverhulme Trust to work in the area of 'Financial Law and Money'.
