The Royal Commission report into Defence and Veteran Suicides will be handed to the government today, amid calls for its recommendations to be fully implemented.

In her first speech to parliament a decade ago Senator Jacqui Lambie called for a royal commission into the Department of Veterans Affairs and how it failed to look after veterans. She told RN Breakfast her feelings today "are everywhere", but she says the "hard work starts today."
