Then, the plaintiff says she hired the defendant to renovate countertops at her salon, but she did a bad job and left sticky resin and sharp corners. She’s suing for repair costs. The defendant insists she did a fine job, and the plaintiff still owes her money. She’s countersuing for the remainder of her fee.
