Libertarians are just right-wingers/conservatives who don't want to look "uncool" by openly identifying as such, and they also tend to be people of relative privilege who have never truly wanted for anything or been discriminated against in their lives. They have always been cushioned from the suffering their garbage policies cause the great unwashed, so they insist that the suffering of others is either a lie or else must be "deserved."
