(No.4) How JP Morgan is Trying to Rip off El Paso and the Environment [interview with Tyson Slocum]
Update: 2019-11-14
Description
This Podcast will consist of an interview that Sunrise El Paso organizers conducted with Tyson Slocum, Energy Director at Public Citizen, a nonprofit consumer advocacy organization.
Tyson has been an immense help for the El Paso community in one of the most alarming issues our city faces: the proposed sale of our community’s electric utility to a private equity fund controlled by JPMorgan, the world’s 6th largest bank.
Water and electricity are fundamental to human life. Our right to each do not carry a price tag. We must block this proposed sale and avoid fundamental repercussions to our community.
