Description

In today's episode I had the pleasure to talk with Larry Isch, a journalist and the Director of Public and Media Relations at the University of the Ozarks. He has been working at Ozarks for almost 27 years, and we talk about how his job has evolved from the first years, how he was the only person in charge in Ozarks in jobs that nowadays are done by six or seven other staff at the university, about how he, along with a then Walton Scholar designed the first website for the University of the Ozarks.

Also, we will talk about his career as journalist, and his interests and work in Sports Information, the ethics in journalism and how polarized information is these days, and about ChatGPT and how it could change the landscape in the communications field, and whether or not this field is in risk of being substituted by Artificial Intelligence (AI).
