#016 – Artists Creating Together and Non-Profits with Emilee Petersmark
Description
In this episode I interview Emilee Petersmark, the Outreach Coordinator for Artist Creating Together, about how ACT has dealt with the covid-19 outbreak. ACT is a non-profit organization that helps bring the world of art to peoples with disabilities.
Due to covid-19 many nonprofits have been struggling to engage with the community they serve and their donors, which has forced many NPOs to adapt or fear losing donations. Emilee tells me what ACT has been doing to adapted to teaching art virtually and how that has created new relationships with communities they couldn’t serve before. In this episode we also talk about social media strategy, virtually fundraisers, and some of the positives that come out coronavirus.
