Racial and gender inequality is an important topic that needs to be discussed. This is because a person's life depends on it. Ashley chooses to be an ally that advocates gender equality to help save LGBTQ+ teens’ and children’s lives.
Ashley Evans is a trauma-informed holistic master healer and a business wellness coach. She is working with individuals who struggle with substance abuse, and severe, persistent mental illness. Ashley is also the founder of AR Counseling.
In today’s episode, Ashley shares her thoughts about intersectionality and oppression in the LGBTQ+ community. She explains some of the reasons for the high rate of HIV cases among African American women. Ashley also talks about how she helps people in exploring their sexuality and what that means to their identity.
