In "Progress Your Fitness by Playing with Intent - A Framework for Play," Charles will explore a framework to guide play within fitness classes to cultivate particular outcomes in this SPARK. The framework consists of six distinct intentions, sorted into two broad categories. Through referencing this framework when programming, play can go beyond a light-hearted activity to one that also fosters self-efficacy, skill mastery, community, self-confidence, and more.

Charles St.John has been coaching parkour with APEX Movement for over 7 years. He holds an ACE Personal Training Certification and has studied under notable coaches such as Ido Portal, Fighting Monkey, Emmet Louis, and more. He also coaches specialized mobility and joint health classes through his personal brand, Movabilities. Additionally, he has classroom teaching experience from the JET Programme and extensive fitness industry knowledge through his current job working for Zen Planner, a gym management software company.
