Recently, India legalised homosexuality, overturning a 2013 judgement that upheld a British colonial-era law, known as section 377. I explore with the Director of the Oxford Centre For Hindu Studies, Shaunaka Rishi Das, Hindu views on sexual orientation and gender identity, and whether by India now decriminalising Homosexuality, is India returning to its roots.
